Our pricing structure changed in January of 2009. Up until that point, we sold our product exclusively through a  luxury dealer network of over 140 dealers throughout the US and Canada. I became frustrated with the quality of the customer service provided by the vast majority of the dealers. They did not sufficiently train their sales staff about the ergonomic advantages of our sinks. Our sinks were sold based on how gorgeous they looked and on the high quality of product and construction. The most important value of a Rachiele sink is the ergonomics; rear corner drains, single bowl sinks, shallower bowls, etc. This message was not getting out to the consumer and we were receiving orders for sinks with designs that I was certain the consumer would not like, such as; center drains, rear center drains, double bowl sinks, and the like. I decided to change my business model and sell direct to the public. That way, we would be assured our customers would be receiving the quality care we feel our customers deserve.

That change in policy affected our price structure. We had a price book with suggested retail and dealer net cost. Retail was double the price of dealer net cost. That pricing structure allowed for generous profit margins to the dealers so they could offer exceptional customer service. (Sadly, the exceptional customer service was missing) Our customers were not getting a good value for their hard earned money!

We are now offering our products direct to the public, therefore there is no need for the retail pricing. We are offering our products to you at dealer net cost - 1/2 of retail. When you see a sink offered on our site for $2000, it would have sold for $4000 prior to January 2009.

Below you will find a general price range for our custom sinks. About 80% of our sinks will fall in the following price ranges. The price ranges below are factory direct wholesale prices. We sell direct to the public at these wholesale prices. From 1999 to 2009, our sinks sold for double the price you see below (through a network of displaying dealers) You can now purchase direct from our factory at the same price dealers were paying.

The money trail... If you are looking at imported sinks, read on...

Imported sink (China, India, Mexico) - the likely money trail

Foreign costs and profit                            $$ (Very little cost of material and labor, but profits are as high as 100%)
Shipping costs to USA                               $ (approximately 5% of the retail price of the sink)
USA Distributor profit                                $$ (Generally the product is marked up between 50% and 300%)
Factory Representative profit                      $ (These folks are invisible to the consumer, yet they make 10% on all sales)
Local Store or Internet company profit        $$ (Generally a 60% to 100% mark up)

An imported sink that starts out at $300, can easily retail for as much as $1800. Do you want to own a $300 product, but pay $1800 for it, or would you rather pay $2400 for a product valued at $2400? Do that math.
Look how many dollars are spent that have nothing to do with the product cost. You are paying more in profit than you are for the product. Consider this. If the imported product retail price is inexpensive, what is the real value of the sink itself after you take away all the profit dollars?

Rachiele sinks are made here in Central Florida. We have no incoming shipping costs, no distributors, no factory representatives and no internet or retail dealers. You are buying factory-direct. When you invest in a Rachiele product, you are getting your money’s worth.

The vast majority of our sinks are custom made to fit your situation and needs. Hence, there is little pricing on our site as the price varies depending on size, shape and finish. Feel free to email or call for pricing.
