Our Harmony™ kitchen sink is ideal for kosher kitchens, a single-bowl sink featuring two completely separate bowls and drains to maintain proper separation of meat and dairy. Each side functions independently—no shared plumbing, no cross-contamination. Made from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, it's hygienic, easy to clean, and we believe it to be rabbinically acceptable for kashering. Optional accessories for each side help reinforce strict kosher practices. Thoughtfully designed to support a kosher lifestyle without compromise. 1. Two Completely Separate Drains

The Harmony™ sink has dual drain systems, which means there are two independent plumbing connections. This allows:

  • Separate water flow and drainage for meat and dairy use

  • No cross-contamination through a shared trap or disposal unit

  • This is a critical requirement for many who follow kosher guidelines.

2. Fully Divided Bowls—No Crossover

Unlike typical double-bowl sinks that may have a low divider or shallow bridge that allows water to spill over, your Harmony™ sink has a full-height divider between the two bowls. That ensures:

  • Water or food particles from one side cannot enter the other.

  • The two sides can be designated as strictly “meat” and “dairy.”

  •  Contoured Sink Floor for Flow Separation

The interior floor of the sink is designed with a step and a slope that channels water toward its designated drain. This creates a natural division within the single bowl, without needing a vertical wall or physical divider. While there is no vertical divider, this design effectively separates runoff and waste flow between the two zones.

3. Stainless Steel Construction

Your sink is built from 316L domestic surgical-grade stainless steel, which is:

  • Easy to Kasher if needed (subject to rabbinical approval)

  • Non-porous, making it more hygienic and less likely to absorb food particles or odors

  • Durable and resistant to corrosion, ideal for repeated use under kosher constraints

  • Liquids are confined to separate sides of the sink; no cross-contamination.

4. Optional Accessories for Each Side

Rachiele® offers custom accessories such as cutting boards, grids, sponge holders, and drying racks that can be dedicated to each side of the sink. This lets you:

  • Avoid mixing utensils or prep tools with our utensil caddies

  • Maintain strict meat/dairy separation in practice

  • We can supply a black and a white butcher grade cutting board

  • We can supply utensil caddies as well.

5. No Shared Garbage Disposal

Most kosher homes do not want a shared garbage disposal between meat and dairy sinks. Our Harmony™ design allows for:

  • Two completely independent drain outlets

  •  Both sides can be fitted with disposals, or neither, according to kitchen setup and halachic guidance.

  •  Designated Zones for Meat and Dairy Use

The sink is intended to be used with clearly defined zones—for example, the left side for dairy and the right side for meat. Users can further reinforce separation with removable racks, depending on their minhag or household practice.

The luxury you deserve without making room for two separate sinks! Harmony™

This design aims to satisfy the practical needs of kosher observance, particularly in homes where space or layout constraints make traditional double-basin sinks difficult to implement. No part of the design allows for direct mixing of utensils, residue, or wastewater between meat and dairy use. We have built sinks like this as small as 42".
