Common Questions About Drop In Sinks
1. Do drop in sinks look as nice as undermounted sinks?
Over the years many customers have voiced concerns over the look of a top mounted sink. Many fear that their kitchen may not have a modern feel. Fortunately, as you can see below, our drop in sinks are gorgeous! In fact, many customers prefer to top mount their sink because they like the look of the metal on the countertop. Having the sink top mounted also ensures that there is no way to chip the edge of the countertop around the sink.
2. Do drop in sinks make it hard to keep counters clean?
We are often asked if it is difficult to wipe countertop messes into the sink. The answer is no. Our sink flanges are only 1/16 of an inch thick. More importantly, our custom workstation designs ensure that you can prep, serve and clean up in your sink. There is no need to get your counters dirty.
Consider replacing it with something much more functional. We replaced this Kohler Pro Center K-3309 and gave our customer an updated look along with the convenience of a workstation.
