We’re not a household name—and that’s intentional. We’re a family-run business, building heirloom-quality sinks for those who value craftsmanship over marketing. The most expensive appliance to replace in a kitchen—without question—is the kitchen sink. Unlike ovens or refrigerators, a sink is fully integrated into your countertop, cabinetry, and plumbing. Swapping it out often requires tearing into, or replacing countertops, backsplashes and more, which means you're not just replacing a sink—you're opening a costly can of worms. Do you really want to roll the dice on that decision?
At Rachiele Custom Sinks, every design choice is rooted in decades of every day cooking, not theory—and certainly not trend-driven guesswork. For over 25 years, we’ve been refining our sinks based on how real people prep, cook, and clean. That means ergonomic comfort, intuitive workflow, and accessories that don’t just look impressive—they actually improve your daily routine.
Unfortunately, many who attempt to imitate our designs focus only on what they see—the surface details. They miss the critical ergonomics: the correct bowl depth for comfort, the optimal ledge placement, the precise corner radii that make cleaning effortless. They add accessories, but fail to consider how they function in motion—how a cutting board works when liquid runs off, how water drains in the sink, how a cook’s hands move throughout the day. Their designs often look the part, but feel awkward and clumsy in real use. We know, because we have been told this over and over by those who have owned other workstation sink brands.
At Rachiele, we know the kitchen isn’t a showroom. it's not a staged series of well produced videos. It’s where life happens. That’s why our sinks are handcrafted to meet the demands of everyday living—quietly improving your experience through thoughtful, proven innovation.
While imitation may flatter, only the original delivers the comfort, flow, and functionality that comes from living at the heart of the kitchen.
Choose the sink designed by someone who cooks every meal. Choose Rachiele.
In the image to the left, you’ll see a common design flaw: the cutting board sits above the counter. Any juices—like from a prime rib—can run off the board onto the counter…and your feet.
Almost all stainless sinks are designed to have a metal grid on the bottom to protect the delicate type of stainless steel and applied finish. None of the Rachiele sinks not only do not require bottom grids, we recommend against using them in our sinks. We refer to them as bacteria factories.
The image to the right reveals a common ergonomic flaw: the cutting board is positioned far too low. This forces the user’s wrist to collide with the countertop edge, creating strain and awkward hand positioning during prep. Over time, it’s not just uncomfortable—it’s inefficient.

Caution: If you are considering a quartz countertop with another brand of sink that uses a flange as the top tier, never place a hot half sheet pan or steam oven tray on the top tier.
Quartz can be damaged at temperatures above 150-200 degrees.
Our sinks are handcrafted, not mass-produced, giving you the unique opportunity to design your sink directly with Dino Rachiele, the owner and industry pioneer. With 22 years in professional kitchen design and 25 years dedicated to sink innovation, Dino brings unmatched expertise to every project. Our sinks aren’t just beautiful—they’re designed to save you time and enhance your daily cooking experience.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards, which is why we never sell second-quality sinks at a discount—even though they surpass the quality of most sinks on the market. Every sink is signed by Dino and our artisans before it leaves our hands, ensuring absolute top-tier craftsmanship. If a sink doesn’t meet our strictest standards, we donate it to Habitat for Humanity, because even our imperfections are better than the industry’s best.
Our sinks are meticulously crafted with cutting boards that rest on an interior ledge or step, situated beneath the rim of the bowl, rather than being held up by a flange that meets a caulking seam between the sink and countertop. We intentionally avoid designs where cutting boards extend over the countertop because any spilled liquids would either end up on the floor or be challenging to clean in place. Our sinks are designed by Dino, an avid cook and professional kitchen designer - not by a marketing team.
Every detail of our accessories and sink designs is intentional. This includes the exact height of the top tiers in our workstation sinks and the meticulously measured widths and depths of our bowls, all designed for practical, real-world functionality. Our NexGen™ and Paragon™ designs excusively offer a full 18" width above and below the ledge. The 18" width allows for half sheet pans and the trays, from most (if not all) steam ovens, to sit on the top tier or the bottom of the bowl in the same orientation.
You'll be pleasantly surprised by our stainless steel sinks—they do away with the need for the bulky grids and bacteria havens that many other sink companies require. Our copper, bronze and brass sinks virtually take care of themselves. Read about our use and care here.
Most often, our clients have a virtual meeting with Dino through Zoom. During this meeting, he can screen-share to walk you through various options for cabinet and sink designs, as well as share exclusive photos that aren't available on our website. By the end of the meeting, you'll find that you've made informed choices as an educated consumer. You may schedule your Zoom meeting here.
We fully understand that it takes a leap of faith to order a custom sink without seeing one in person. Perhaps you can set your mind at ease by delving deeper into our customer testimonials on platforms like Google and Houzz. You'll notice that the majority of our reviews are quite detailed, providing a more comprehensive understanding of our clients' satisfaction than what can be captured in a brief sentence or two accompanying a 5-star rating. This level of detailed feedback reflects the deep-seated appreciation our clients have for the customer service, quality, and craftsmanship we bring to each project. Please do your homework check out reviews on all sink brands on Houzz.com!

It is for this reason that we take customer service to the next level—our phones are answered, voicemail is returned promptly, seven days a week, not just by any representative but by the owner of the company. We believe this personal touch makes all the difference in establishing trust and delivering a customer experience that not only meets but also exceeds expectations.
Frequently, Dino goes above and beyond the scope of sink design by offering alternative cabinetry layout options that significantly enhance the overall functionality and aesthetic of your kitchen. Leveraging his 20 years of expertise in kitchen design, he identifies opportunities for improvement that you may not have considered, ensuring that every element of your space is optimized for both beauty and practicality. This added layer of consultative service sets Dino—and our company—apart, as it reflects a holistic approach to kitchen design where every component works in harmony.
Our butcher grade cutting boards are made exclusively from a material certified by inspectors for use as countertops in butcher shops and delicatessens. Why? Because it does not stain or allow deep cuts that harbor bacteria like typical cutting boards. Designed for durability, these boards can last over a decade, are dishwasher-safe, and are gentle on knives. We do not offer bamboo cutting boards or drain racks partially made of wood, as they are simply not going to last. Our intent is for your sink and all accessories to last decades.
It's surprising that many sink manufacturers overlook the convenience of integrated storage for essentials like sponges, soap, and drain or disposal tops.
Our versatile multi-use grid serves at least six functions, setting us apart from the competition, which often provides only a basic drying rack. Our commitment to quality and functionality in accessories surpasses what's commonly available, ensuring superior performance and satisfaction.
The premium materials selected for our sinks guarantee durability through decades of daily use, positioning them as a prudent investment for any household. Constructed from domestically sourced 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, pure copper, brass, and bronze, these sinks are not just built to last but also add an element of luxury to your kitchen. Did you know that type 316 stainless steel is more scratch-resistant and stronger than type 304? Read more here. All our metals are proudly produced in the USA, and we meticulously craft each sink in Apopka, Florida, ensuring unmatched quality and craftsmanship.
Even though we have very sophisticated equipment, 90% of the work on every sink and accessory is done by hand. When complete, each artisan proudly signs his name on the outside of your sink. You will be investing in an original, signed piece of custom art. Dino Rachiele adds a personal touch by writing a thank you note and signing every sink on the bottom.
We have always offered a lifetime, transferable, warranty. No paperwork is needed. Now for our exclusive guarantee: Our goal is to exceed your expectations. We want you to be completely thrilled with your new sink! Upon delivery and subsequent inspection, if for any reason, you are not THRILLED with the quality of my sink, I will (1) promptly and fully refund your money, (2) pay for the return shipping cost, and (3) send you a check for $300, in recognition of the inconvenience experienced. I want you to be THRILLED. We leave mere customer "satisfaction" to the competition.
Over 90% of our business comes from repeat customers and referrals, reflecting the trust and satisfaction our customers have in our products. Many of our customers return to us when building second homes or new homes. This ongoing support has allowed us to forego an advertising budget since 2008.
