The above client had a crack in front of the sink and a long crack behind the sink. He was told he had no other option than to replace the granite. This was a sizeable kitchen! My patented design allowed for simple cuts in the stone, removal of the false drawer heads and the sink dropped into place without any cutting of the cabinetry. I extended the rear faucet deck to allow the stone to be cut past where the rear cracks ended so there would be no possibility of the stone cracking further. Not only did we save them the cost and time of replacing the stone and purchasing a new sink, this project was completed in one day and they have a beautiful copper farm sink with our NexGen workstation option so they can prepare meals on the sink instead of on the countertop!

Replacing your sink can be a fairly simple process. We are happy to answer any questions you have along the way. Cracked granite no longer requires replacing all of your granite. The below project was completed, from start to finish, by our customer, who had never done this type of work before!
Granite fabricators failed to understand that creating channels in granite for steel bar installation, both in front of and behind the sink, poses significant risks. Granite is a porous material, which means that the steel bar can easily get exposed to moisture, leading to rust. As the steel bar rusts, it expands, while the granite, unable to accommodate this expansion, is prone to cracking. Our solution eliminates this structural flaw, ensuring the integrity and longevity of your granite surfaces without compromising strength or stability.

As shown in the video, the sink can simply drop in place. If you do not want to shim the countertop to account for the thickness of the metal, the areas where the sink sits can be routed down 1/16" (the thickness of the metal) to be flush with the cabinetry. My patented design allows for a very simple installation without having to cut into your existing cabinetry.
