The Gold Standard in Kitchen Durability
At Rachiele®, we exclusively use domestic 316L surgical-grade stainless steel—an elite material chosen for its superior corrosion and scratch resistance, strength, and longevity. Unlike standard 304 or even 316 (marine-grade) stainless, 316L resists staining from soapy water, hard water minerals, and even household bleach—making it exceptionally easy to maintain.
The sink pictured above showcases the clean, matte elegance of our hand-finished sinks. This material is not only more resilient to scratches than 304 steel, it’s also significantly more resistant to pitting and surface deterioration over time.
Choose 316L for unmatched hygiene, resilience, and lasting beauty in your kitchen. Read an in-depth comparison between 316L stainless and 304 stainless. Choose 316L stainless for unmatched resilience and lasting beauty in your kitchen.
We’re always honored when industry professionals recognize the level of craftsmanship we put into our sinks. Back in 2021, NASA welding experts visited our artisan shop and were genuinely thrilled to see we use the same high-end welding equipment employed by NASA itself. After observing our welding and finishing process firsthand, one exclaimed—only half-joking—“Take my money!” He later shared his experience with colleagues, which led to another order from a fellow engineer.
What impressed them—and a more recent visit from a welding expert from Blue Origin—was the precision and control of our welding. These exceptionally fine welds require more time and skill, but the result is a cleaner, more refined sink with sleek, uninterrupted lines that speak for themselves.
This kind of detail doesn’t just happen. It’s the result of passion, patience, and an obsession with perfection. I’m proud to share close-up images of our team’s work—because when the experts take notice, you know it’s something special.

The image above highlights the precision of our exclusive MicroWelding™ technique—where each interior corner is meticulously fused and hand-finished to a glassy, seamless result. The transition from bottom to side is carefully shaped into a smooth curve, making these corners not only beautiful but remarkably easy to clean.
Unlike mass-produced sinks that rely on bulky welds or sharp junctions, our method eliminates buildup-prone crevices. This level of craftsmanship takes the better part of a full day to complete, but the reward is lasting beauty and effortless maintenance—something our customers consistently rave about.
The image above shows one of our workstation sinks in action—with a walnut cutting board, a typical half-sheet pan, and a precision made sponge caddy all working in harmony. This isn’t just a sink—it’s a multi-functional prep and cleanup station.
Each Rachiele® sink is intelligently designed to support a half-sheet or steam oven pan directly on the ledge, giving you extra counterspace exactly where you need it—right at the sink. All stainless accessories are crafted for durability and are fully dishwasher safe for effortless cleanup.
Prep Tip: Grill outdoors, bring your meat in on a half-sheet pan, slice it on the cutting board, and let the sink do the rest. It's functional luxury at its finest.
The photo above says it all. On the left, a typical mass-produced sink with a reflective, linear-brushed finish—every scratch stands out, even in a showroom setting.
Our exclusive random-pattern finish not only masks scratches beautifully—it allows you to use your sink without the hassle of a bottom grid. We refer to those bottom grids as bacteria factories! No babying. No high-maintenance upkeep. Just long-lasting elegance, durability, and peace of mind.
This showroom display may appear clean, but the flaws run deeper. Many manufacturers repurpose the sink flange as a step for accessories—a shortcut that traps water along the caulk joint. Over time, this leads to unsanitary buildup, caulk degradation, and unnecessary maintenance headaches.
Worse yet, the weld quality here is subpar: rough, inconsistent, and unfinished. Instead of a seamless interior, you’re left with a harbor for grime. This is a perfect example of why design and craftsmanship matter. At Rachiele®, we engineer every detail to eliminate these issues—ensuring true functionality, hygiene, and longevity.
This is an extremely labor-intensive and specialized option, designed for those who seek the pinnacle of craftsmanship. While it offers no significant advantage in cleanability over our proprietary MicroWelded corners, it delivers a visually seamless 1/8" wide weld that blends flawlessly from the sink’s bottom into its sidewalls.
Each weld is meticulously hand-finished to meet our exacting standards—typically requiring two to three additional days of work beyond MicroWelding. Available exclusively for our stainless steel sinks, this option reflects the highest level of refinement and detail.

The photo above showcases our striking Millennia™ texture—created with a 40-ton press to deliver both visual brilliance and practical performance. The finely embossed pattern diffuses reflections, camouflages water spots and scratches, and adds an eye-catching dimension to the stainless steel surface.
Beyond aesthetics, Millennia™ stainless steel is NSF Certified—an assurance of quality, cleanliness, and food-safe durability. This level of certification is required in commercial kitchens, medical environments, and any setting where hygiene is non-negotiable.
Perfect for clients who want bold style without compromising on performance or sanitation.
Here’s what an independent expert had to say:
"This is exceptionally clean work. The 1/8” TIG weld on this 316L stainless outside corner shows remarkable consistency. The bead is uniform from start to finish, with tight, even ripples that reflect expert torch control and precise heat management. Edge fusion is flawless—both sides of the joint are well-bonded with no signs of undercut or overfill.
There’s no porosity, crater cracking, or distortion. The coloration and surface oxidation visible here are entirely typical for post-weld stainless before cleaning—and they indicate a solid shield without overheating or trailing gas loss.
In terms of structure, this weld easily scores a 10 out of 10. With minimal finishing, it would present at a showroom or architectural grade level. This is what precision TIG welding should look like."
Our Unique Hand Finishing offers a clean, refined look—subtle hand-applied texture negates the need for a bottom grid.
The Millennia™ Finish, on the other hand, is unlike anything else on the market. This textured finish is designed to diffuse light, disguise daily wear, and deliver a bold, artisanal aesthetic. It simply comes down to your preferred look and lifestyle.
Our workstation sinks render countertops nearly redundant, and this one is the primary workstation sink in this kitchen.

Hammered nickel sinks, created by plating nickel over hammered copper, often face durability issues. The nickel layer can wear off over time—sometimes quite quickly—compromising the sink's long-term appearance and making it a less reliable choice for those seeking lasting quality.
We are absolutely thrilled with our NexGen Undermount Stainless Steel sink that we installed in our kitchen remodel. I have been using the sink for a few hours per day for the past 2.5 months, and it has been wonderful. The right-side drain works really well and drains fast. The corners do not get dirty with food, and the sink is very easy to keep clean. We are loving the white cutting board, grid, and sponge caddy that we got with our sink. Everything is super high quality and even better than I expected.
We also ordered all of our Waterstone faucets from Rachiele. The faucets are fantastic and very high quality as well.
The experience of working with Dino and his team was great. From the initial phone call to receiving our sink and unboxing it all... it was like getting a new Apple product! First class experience all around. Thank you, Dino & team! Jason
Trust me, as a mother of 4 who has cooked for 50 years now, this sink wins the best form and function award as being the best I have ever used. Also, the marine-grade fixtures, under-sink water filter, waste basket/recycle slide out unit are top of the line too. Dino made shopping for these necessary fixtures so easy. Thank you, Dino, for all your advice, assistance with kitchen design, and care your company puts into making such great products! Kristi G.
